La journ\u00e9e avait \u00e9t\u00e9 interminable. Chaque pas m\u2019avait rappel\u00e9 cette g\u00eane sourde, persistante, que j\u2019avais essay\u00e9 d\u2019ignorer. Comme tant d\u2019autres choses, je m\u2019\u00e9tais dit que \u00e7a passerait. Mais rien ne passait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La semelle semblait faire corps avec la chaussure, comme si elle avait toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e0. Lorsqu\u2019elle c\u00e9da enfin avec un l\u00e9ger bruit sec, je ressentis une \u00e9trange satisfaction, presque disproportionn\u00e9e. Un soulagement imm\u00e9diat, suivi d\u2019un silence inattendu. Je regardai \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, m\u2019attendant \u00e0 trouver un gravier, un pli, quelque chose de concret. Il n\u2019y avait rien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce vide me troubla plus que s\u2019il y avait eu un objet visible. J\u2019avais esp\u00e9r\u00e9 une cause \u00e9vidente, une explication simple. Au lieu de cela, il ne restait qu\u2019une trace de colle et une impression diffuse, comme celle que laisse un probl\u00e8me invisible. Je compris alors que la douleur n\u2019\u00e9tait pas toujours li\u00e9e \u00e0 ce qu\u2019on peut nommer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En reposant la chaussure \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de moi, je r\u00e9alisai \u00e0 quel point cette sc\u00e8ne ressemblait \u00e0 ma journ\u00e9e, \u00e0 ma vie m\u00eame. Tout semblait fonctionner de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, mais quelque chose, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, \u00e9tait mal ajust\u00e9. Trop serr\u00e9. Trop contraignant. Et j\u2019avais continu\u00e9 \u00e0 avancer malgr\u00e9 tout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je massai lentement mon pied et fermai les yeux. L\u2019appartement \u00e9tait calme, honn\u00eatement calme, sans attentes ni obligations. Dans ce silence, je sentis la fatigue s\u2019installer, non pas celle des muscles, mais celle de l\u2019esprit qui s\u2019adapte sans cesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je remis finalement la semelle en place, mais diff\u00e9remment. Moins forc\u00e9e, moins rigide. Comme un rappel discret : je n\u2019\u00e9tais pas oblig\u00e9e de tout supporter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la douleur. Parfois, il faut s\u2019arr\u00eater, regarder de pr\u00e8s, et avoir le courage d\u2019arracher ce qui ne tient plus \u2014 m\u00eame si cela demande toute notre force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce petit acte banal m\u2019a appris quelque chose ce soir-l\u00e0. La lib\u00e9ration ne vient pas toujours avec des r\u00e9ponses claires.
