Il me fit signe de m\u2019approcher. Mes jambes tremblaient l\u00e9g\u00e8rement, mais je ne pouvais pas reculer. Lorsqu\u2019il posa l\u2019enveloppe sur la table, j\u2019ai senti mon c\u0153ur battre plus vite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je l\u2019ai ouverte, et \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur se trouvaient des photographies anciennes, des lettres jaunies et des documents que je n\u2019avais jamais vus. Chaque image, chaque mot racontait une histoire de ma propre famille que je croyais oubli\u00e9e ou perdue. Des secrets enfouis depuis des d\u00e9cennies semblaient soudainement vouloir \u00e9clater \u00e0 la surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je me suis assise, les mains tremblantes, incapable de d\u00e9tourner les yeux. Mon souffle s\u2019est coup\u00e9. Tout \u00e0 coup, ma vie semblait diff\u00e9rente, comme si un voile venait d\u2019\u00eatre lev\u00e9. Ce que je pensais conna\u00eetre de mon pass\u00e9 n\u2019\u00e9tait qu\u2019une partie de l\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019homme me regardait attentivement. \u00ab Je sais que c\u2019est beaucoup \u00e0 assimiler \u00bb, murmura-t-il. \u00ab Mais vous deviez le savoir. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je restai silencieuse, mon esprit tournant \u00e0 toute vitesse. Une vague de choc, de tristesse et d\u2019\u00e9merveillement m\u2019envahit. L\u2019impression que quelqu\u2019un m\u2019avait litt\u00e9ralement arrach\u00e9 le souffle ne me quittait pas. Mais en m\u00eame temps, une curiosit\u00e9 intense s\u2019installait, me poussant \u00e0 examiner chaque d\u00e9tail, \u00e0 comprendre chaque secret r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pendant un long moment, je restai immobile, le c\u0153ur battant \u00e0 tout rompre. J\u2019avais l\u2019impression que rien ne serait jamais plus comme avant. Mais au fond de moi, je savais que cette r\u00e9v\u00e9lation \u00e9tait un nouveau d\u00e9part, une opportunit\u00e9 de reconstruire ma perception du monde et de ma propre histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque respiration \u00e9tait encore difficile, mais chaque souffle me rapprochait d\u2019une v\u00e9rit\u00e9 que je ne pouvais plus ignorer. Le pass\u00e9 et le pr\u00e9sent se m\u00ealaient, et je me sentais \u00e9trangement vivante, pr\u00eate \u00e0 affronter ce que j\u2019avais toujours
